As part of a recent enhancement to the Starling neighborhood swimming pool, an existing water play area was revitalized with new pirate-themed aquatic play features from Water Odyssey. By incorporating the Pirate Ship Slide, Ship Cannon, and Tropical Palm Fun Forms, the renovated play area transforms a traditional pool environment into an imaginative destination where young adventurers can embark on their own high-seas journeys. The themed additions breathe new life into the aquatic space while enhancing the overall family experience for residents and guests.
At the center of the play space stands the Pirate Ship Slide, the largest feature in the collection and a focal point for aquatic fun. This themed water slide includes a straight chute that exits near the bow of the ship, along with a dual straight chute slide that exits from the stern. To further enhance the play experience, this installation includes additional water effects of arching streams from the bow, cannon ports, and sides of the ship, creating an immersive environment for aspiring pirates.
Complementing the ship is the Ship Cannon, an interactive aqua sprayer that fits perfectly within the pirate theme. Designed to resemble a working cannon, it emits a ring of gentle arching water streams that mimic a cannon blast while providing refreshing play opportunities for children as they defend their vessel from imaginary intruders.
Nearby, the Tropical Palm adds both shade-inspired aesthetics and cooling water play. This whimsical aqua sprayer gently releases water from its overhead fronds, creating a refreshing retreat for children as they continue their adventures around the splash pool.
